Evening Programme

The evening programme provides further opportunities to exploit your communication skills. We offer a programme of three evening activities each week, accompanied by CLT staff, which typically includes some of the following:

• Tour of Canterbury with professional guide (slide presentation in winter)
• White cliffs of Dover - 1.5 hour walk along the famous cliff top followed by drinks in St Margaret´s Bay (spring/summer)
• A quiz evening in an English country inn (autumn/winter)
• Course dinner - all participants join members of the CLT management team in a local restaurant
• A play at the Marlowe Theatre or a film at the local Cinema
• English vineyard - located in the beautiful countryside, 20 minutes from Canterbury. Our host, a former chemist with Pfizer, gives a fascinating presentation on the wine making process - tasting included!
• Evensong in Canterbury cathedral - a unique opportunity to hear the Cathedral Choir with its renowned boy choristers
• A guided visit to the charming village of Chilham

The price of the evening programme is £42 per week (including car service where necessary, but excluding any theatre tickets) in 2008.
