Guaranteed arrival and departure transfer service - price increase
The company we use for our guaranteed airport/station transfers have informed us that their prices will increase on 1st April 2008. They have not changed their prices since January 2007 since when fuel prices in the U.K. have risen by 20% and airport/station parking fees have also risen sharply.
Prices from 1st April 2008
London Airports (Heathrow, Gatwick, City & Stansted) £92 arrival or departure only, £184 arrival and departure
Ashford International (Eurostar) £39 arrival or departure only, £78 arrival and departure
These prices will be kept under constant review during the year.
We strongly recommend this transfer service - to quote one of our Italian participants:

Reception for host families - 30th January
On the evening of 30th January CLT staff hosted a drinks reception for host families in our Castle Street building. The event was organised, with a lot of help from her colleagues in the office, by Paula Steeden who is our homestay coordinator.

Over 60 people attended the evening and the guests were addressed briefly by the Managing Director, Maureen Gough. She thanked our host families for providing such consistently exceptional welcomes to our course participants.
It was an opportunity for the familes to get to know CLT staff and to have a guided tour of the facilities.
